The Town of Marlborough is accepting nominations for its annual Citizen of the Year award. Established in 2024, the award honors residents who demonstrate exceptional service and commitment to the community. Last year’s recipient was Tom Schroeder, the Town Historian, veteran, and active member of the American Legion.
Residents are invited to resubmit nominations from last year or put forward new candidates. Nominations are due by December 31 and should be submitted to the Town Clerk’s Office.
Per the award requirements, nominees need to be a resident for at least ten years and at least 18 years of age, and not currently in office or employed by the Town.
